Danoners have two dental plan options through Delta Dental of Colorado to choose from: Delta Dental Basic and Delta Dental Comprehensive. Both plans include Prevention First. With Prevention First, your preventive care visits (typically X-rays, exams, and cleanings) do not count against your annual maximum.

You may consider choosing the basic plan if: 

• You expect you and your family to only need preventive and basic services, such as regular oral examinations and cavity fillings, in a given year. 
  
• You or your family members are unlikely to need major restorative services.

You may consider choosing the comprehensive plan if:

• You or a dependent needs orthodontia services, such as braces. 
  
• You expect you and your family’s dental needs to involve major services, such as crowns, dentures, or night guards, which are not covered under the Basic Plan.

Right Start 4 Kids® 

Included with your Delta Dental coverage is a unique feature that makes it easier than ever to take care of your children’s dental care needs. Right Start 4 Kids provides coverage for children up to their 13th birthday at 100% coinsurance for covered diagnostic and preventive, basic, and major services, with no deductible, when you use an in-network provider.* If you see an out-of-network provider, the regular coinsurance levels will apply.
