When it comes to choosing your benefits, it's important to understand who is eligible so that you can make an informed decision about coverage. Review the table below to learn more. You are eligible for benefits on the first day of the month following your date of hire.

NOTE: Benefit eligibility and plans may differ for those governed by a collective bargaining agreement (CBA). See your CBA for details.

Documentation Required for Verifying Dependents

If you are adding a dependent for the first time or you need to add a dependent due to a life event, you will be required to submit documentation to verify their eligibility. Please refer to danonehealth.com and the Danone Health Service Center for a complete list of required documentation. When adding your dependents, their enrollment will remain pending until verified.

If you do not verify within 30 days of your eligibility date, they will be dropped from coverage.

All dependents must be verified. If you and your dependent child work for Danone, you may not enroll in dual coverage for benefits for your dependent child. Your dependent child may enroll in their own coverage or may be covered as your dependent child, but they may not be covered as both a Danone employee and as a Danone dependent child.
If you and your spouse/domestic partner work for Danone, you must not enroll in dual coverage for benefits for you, your spouse/domestic partner or any benefit-eligible children. Your spouse/domestic partner may enroll in their own coverage or may be covered as your spouse/domestic partner, but they may not be covered as both a Danone employee and as a Danone spouse/domestic partner. Only one of you may cover dependent children.
Children who were disabled prior to age 26 and are dependent on you for support.
